The Purdue Women's Club Newcomers Committee is here to welcome new members into the club and to provide valuable information regarding Purdue and the Greater Lafayette area while we form new friendships and get to know each other better. The Newcomers Committee invites you to meet with us generally on the first Wednesday of every month (note exceptions below) at the YWCA in Lafayette, from 11:30am to 1:30pm. The YWCA is located at 605 North 6th Street (765-742-0075) and free parking is conveniently located across the street. Throughout the year members of the community will be our guest speakers; judges, medical doctors, law enforcement officers, and other relevant personalities will give presentations to our new club members regarding their different fields of expertise. We will coordinate something for lunch each month so be sure to check your PWC Newsletters for details. Our Newcomers Welcome Coffee will be held on August 28, 2012. Please join us at the home of Patti Arbuckle, 3824 Sunnycroft Place, WL (Capilano by the Lakes Subdivision.) Join us from 1:00-3:00pm or 7:00-9:00pm. RSVP to Patti by August 24.
