Create an Heirloom was formed in 1981 to explore a variety of old, new, and updated needlework, sewing, and quilting techniques. Each month we learn something new in a lesson taught by one of our members using a small kit. Instructions are usually included so the member can get a good start on the project at the meeting and then complete the project at home at her leisure. Members are always willing and able to help novices with the project.
Meetings are held in members’ homes, and social interaction is often enjoyed as much as the project. No previous needlework or sewing experience is required. The only requirements are membership in PWC and a willingness to try something new.
