Let's Do Lunch just has to see what else is new at the Hunters Pub South besides its new name entitled, Legacy. Located on Concord Road and 350 South, it has been a popular pub for years serving sandwiches and brew while you watch Sports TV everywhere you turn.
This was another lunch spot that "the regulars" requested. I know of other groups that enjoy coming back. Please join us. Your favorite sport or team may be on the screen when you come.
Let me know. The date is Friday, March 17, St. Patrick's Day at Noon. Maybe there will be green decor and green beverages. I'll have to check it out. Kathy McGraw OR 617-1496.

Meets: 3rd Friday of the Month, 12 noon, September through April
All PWC members are welcome to join us for lunch at 12 noon on the 3rd Friday of each month from September through April.
It’s a great time and a “little getaway” and we are always there to greet you. Each month you can check the website for a more detailed description of the restaurant and location.
The following restaurants are a collection of regular lunch-goers’ suggestions along with new spots in town. We always share lively conversations and savory food together.
Please RSVP in advance if possible, however we will always make room for more. Please contact Kathy McGraw via email or 765-617-1496.
Our last lunch for the 2016-17 year will be at the Town & Gown Bistro on Friday, April 21 @ 12:00 Noon. I love its name and the somewhat two-story English Tudor building with all its hard landscaping, pots of variegated plants, vines and blossoms and window boxes. It even looks great in the winter with its iron rod fence. The Town & Gown is free of construction, making it an easy drive to 119 N River Road, WL. It sets between McDonald's on West Lafayette's Landing and Purdue's row of fraternities on the hillside. Looking out of their windows your eye follows the streets leading across the John T. Myers Pedestrian Bridge and the Courthouse. You might want to get your bearings and drive over some day before our lunch. I also love its cozy smaller spaces and its menu. My husband, John, and I fed our five grandsons ranging in ages from 11 to 20 at the Town & Gown. They chose a variety of meals. Some had the restaurant's burger, one had an omelet and the oldest had a hugh plate of stacked pancakes, which he shared with his brothers. I enjoyed immensely their tomato basil soup and half tuna fish sandwich. EVERY entree is very tasty and presented in good style and service. Visit online their 46 colorful photos of the exterior and interior, the staff and popular menu choices. Hope to see the regulars and guests are most welcome. Come and have good food and fun. RSVP to Kathy McGraw or 617-1496.
