Educational Excursions - Spring Trip

Trips:  One fall and one spring.
Format:  The Educational Excursions committee typically organizes two trips each year, one in the fall and one in the spring. The purpose of these trips is to provide an opportunity to see and learn about other areas in the Midwest while enjoying the company of PWC members and guests.

Spring Trip 2025

Chicago, IL
Thursday, April 24, 2025

We are trying something new this spring by sharing a bus for the Spring Educational
Excursion and the Chicago Spring Bus Trip. Both groups will board the same bus at the West
Lafayette Meijer, travel to Chicago, and participate in an outdoor walking tour of the lakeside
Museum Campus (Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, and the Adler Planetarium). The
Chicago Spring Trip group will be dropped off at Rush/Superior to enjoy 4+ hours on their
own in the Chicago Loop and the Magnificent Mile. The Ed Excursion group will continue to
Lincoln Park and the Chicago History Museum for lunch and a tour. Free time will be
available to visit nearby attractions. The Ed Excursion Group will then pick up the Spring Trip
group at Rush/Superior before heading back to West Lafayette.
