Chicago Bus Trips - Holiday

​Trips:  One late fall/early winter and a second in the spring if demand is there.
Format:  Transportation to/from Chicago for an adventurous day of your own design. 
Registration fee covers transportation.

Holiday Bus Trip to Chicago! 
This year’s Holiday Bus Trip will take place on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. There is lots to see and do in downtown Chicago, including shopping, the theater, the annual Christkindl Market, museums, and much more. We will leave from the West Lafayette Meijer parking lot at 8:00 am EST and return to this location around 9:30 pm EST. There will be two drop off locations: Downtown Chicago at Rush and Superior, near the Water Tower, around 9:30 am CST followed by a second morning drop off near the Art Institute. The return departure will be at Rush and Superior near the Water Tower at 6:00 pm CST.
 
Registration forms will be available on the PWC website and in the fall newsletter. Advance trip registration and payment are required for members and guests. The cost is $45 for members and $50 for guests. 

This trip is open to Purdue Women’s Club members and their guest.

Depart:  Arrive by 7:45 AM for a 8:00 AM EST departure from the West Lafayette Meijer parking lot; Drop Off in Chicago is near Water Tower Place at Superior & Rush
Leave Chicago at 6:00 PM Chicago Time (CST) from Superior & Rush
Return to the parking lot about 9:30 PM (EST)

Reservations: Advance payment and trip registration are required for members and guests!! Please keep in mind that the bus fills up fast and reservations are first come first served.

FAQs
What is the refund policy?
Cancellation refunds are given only if we are able to resell your seat before the trip.
What can/can’t I bring to the event?
Bring what you think you might want/need to be comfortable.  The bus has storage bins above the seats and a large area below the bus to accommodate your purchases, luggage and even coolers.
