Noon Test Kitchen continues to meet over the summer – would you like to test the group?
For the summer, Noon Test Kitchen will be meeting on June 23rd, July 28th and August 25th. The theme for our June meeting is Picnic Foods. Please email Lisa Groh at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
We meet at noon usually on the last Friday of the month at a member's home. The host selects the theme and does not have to make anything. Based on the theme, members each find & test new recipes or make a variation of something tried & true. Members bring their prepared dish to the meeting for all to enjoy This is not a competition, but a friendly sharing of new recipes and foods. We use Evite to send the monthly invitation and post comments there on what we will be making to help round out the menu. Past themes included Soup or Bread, Mexican Foods, Julia Child Recipes, Summer Foods, Anything Vegetable, Italian Foods, Nuts, Holiday Foods, Favorite Low Cost Dishes and Very Old Recipes with a Story.
Is there a topic that you'd like to explore or a pastime you want to pursue that is not on the PWC Interest Group list? On this website on the Interest Group page there is a form that can help you with plans to start a new group. MaryGayle Hartzell, VP for Interest Groups, would be glad to assist. In order to be considered by the board at the next meeting, proposals must be sent to MaryGayle via the website link by the end of the month.
