So much is happening in the financial world, and these changes could affect us and our families. We need to stay informed and to keep up with this ever-changing field. We also need to learn how to adapt to our changing needs as we move through careers, child rearing, grand-parenting and retirement.
The focus of this group is to increase knowledge of financial topics with discussions and presentations in regards to decision points we face as we age. Ronda starts each meeting with a market update and a brief report on current events affecting the market. After a brief discussion around any concerns and/or questions from the group, there is a presentation from the month's featured speaker. Past speakers have addressed tax law, will preparation, investment basics, downsizing, insurance, and social security, plus many other interesting topics.
To make sure you don’t miss out, be sure you are getting the Increasing Our Financial Confidence Punchbowl invitations. Contact Mary Anne Robinson at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions and to be placed on the invitation list.

Danielle Gaylord, SOS Relocation Specialist, spoke at the April 13, 2017 meeting about Downsizing and Organizing. She has kindly provided a copy of her presentation and a survey. Also, at that meeting, Dana White mentioned a spreadsheet she helped put together with ideas for where we can take our donations locally. That is available below as well.
